About the Dart Parts

The dart tip is made of 17-4PH stainless steel material, which has HRC 45-50 hardness and surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.4μm, while ensuring its penetration performance and durability.
The dart barrel is made of 6061-T6 aviation aluminum material. After CNC machining, the wall thickness uniformity error is controlled at ±0.02mm. The surface is anodized and has a hardness of HV ≥ 350.
The dart rod is made of 304 stainless steel material, the diameter tolerance is controlled at ±0.01mm, and the straightness error is less than 0.03mm/100mm, which ensures the flight stability.

Dart Parts Production
We use a CNC turning machining center to produce key parts such as dart tips and dart barrels with an accuracy of ±0.005mm. The screw thread meshing surface of the dart rod achieves the mirror effect of Ra0.4μm by spiral interpolation milling technology to ensure the assembly coaxiality error ≤0.02mm. By optimizing cutting parameters, tungsten steel tool life is increased by 40%, and the risk of edge breakage is reduced.
The weight core of the dart parts adopts vacuum assisted die casting process, the flow speed of AZ91D magnesium alloy is increased by 22%, and the porosity is controlled below 0.08%. Thin-walled dart cylinder (wall thickness 1.2-1.5mm) uses a stepped pressurization system to eliminate cold insulation defects and extend the mold life to more than 150,000 molds.
The impact area of the dart tip adopts pulse electroplating technology to form 12-15μm nickel-tungsten alloy coating with a hardness of 850HV0.05 and wear resistance increased by 3 times. The holding part of the dart rod was treated by micro-arc oxidation to produce a 30μm ceramic film, and the friction coefficient was stable at 0.15-0.18. The functional coating uses the magnetron sputtering process to deposit diamond-like carbon film (DLC). The film base bonding force passes the ISO 26443 standard test, and the hydrophobic Angle reaches 115°, which reduces the flight resistance.
The whole process adopts a digital quality tracing system, and the fluctuation of metal ion concentration in the electroplating bath is controlled at ±1.5g/L. The internal defects of die casting parts were detected by industrial CT with a resolution of 5μm. Coating adhesion complies with ASTM D3359 to ensure Class 9B strength. Comply with RoHS and REACH regulations, hexavalent chromium content ≤0.02mg/m².
